HEY YALL!!!
I gave not one, but two talks yesterday!
Which I am very proud of, may I just say
I wrote them both kinda last minute and I felt very accomplished
I don't like giving talks lol
Butttt I loved it how I was able to learn more about the topics I was speaking on and learn more about this amazing gospel!
(Crazy to think there's always more to learn...what?
) Anywho, I had a sister from our ward thank me for my talk in a comment in relief society and it made me feel so happy
and so special and it just made me so proud to be a missionary

We also visited some inactive members we've been meeting with weekly who me and Sister Heiner stopped by randomly my first or second week here
and they immediately let us in!
and they immediately let us in!
They said they hadn't been to church since before covid
and haven't gone back cause they were just lazy
We got talking and i found out I had gotten really close with their jr high/ high school granddaughters in my last area!
So we had an immediate connection. When we were there on Saturday we found out they haven't been to the temple like ever!
So we scratched our lesson plan and talked about the temple and the spirit was so strong
We told them that we want to get them to the temple and the first step they need to take is to go to church!!
We told them we were speaking and how much it would mean to us and when we were sitting on the stand I looked over and they walked in!!
Oh it made me so happy
I was tearing up and I elbowed Sister heiner and we both couldn't get the smiles off our face!! I know they felt something
and haven't gone back cause they were just lazy

A few weeks ago I talked about our friends Alphonso and Ernestine
who I taught when I was in MoVal and we had to push back their baptismal date
but we had an AMAZING lesson with them and talked a lot about family history
and we found his grandpa on family tree!!
Their son is a member and him and his wife have done so much of their temple work and they thought it was so cool!!
We found some of his family members who he didn't know existed! Family history is so amazing

Along with my title, we had such an amazing visit with our members last night
They asked us what it means personally to wear our name badges. Like why is wearing the badge so important! I started tearing up thinking about taking my tag off and I can't believe I how fast the time is going!
We continued to talk about how important the gospel is to us all and when we left, me and sister heiner just bawled in the car
The spirit was so strong and so amazing
I love this gospel so so much!!
