Week 43: The end of an Era

 TALOFA YALL (My last time saying that) I absolutely have loved my time here in the Samoan ward and Tongan Branch 

 

BUTTTT I'm absolutely PUMPED for this transfer cause I get to be w Sister Sterrett WAHOOOOO. We also go home together which is in 7 MONTHS?? WHATT?? Kinda crazy if you ask me I just got here I feel like! I've talked about her in a couple of my emails and we're bestiesbut have legit never served around each other Kinda wack! We're gonna have too much fun frfr  

On Tuesday we did a zone exchange and I was w my mom!! (Aka Sister Clawson) and we gotta go to the area we served in together I'm Hemet and see so many of our fav members! They were so confused and happy to see us lol 

 

We also had a fundraiser for our Tongan branch on Saturday and it was SO fun We gotta watch the young women and men dance and have money thrown at them!!! 

Wednesday I also gotta see the Marilou Jaeger!! We gotta go serve at the bishops store house for a little and it was so good go see her! 

As well as two of my cousins on Saturday!! I just love the Brady hugs and miss them so so much

Last night we had a child of record baptism in our ward and two of my comps were witnesses and me and another one gave a small talk! Almost the whole ward was there supporting and so we got to say our final goodbyes to them 

They always called me their Samoan Polongi (white) Sister cause I never act white so many of them just said I fit the vibe so well. I'm definitely gonna miss them and I'm sad I was only here for 6 weeks!! 

I've noticed the power of prayer so much lately and this scripture is such a good one we love to share as missionaries!! 

Alma 37:37

"Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day."
