Week 35-36: OHHHHHHHH WE'RE HALF WAY THERE

 HEY YALL I hit half way last Friday!! Kinda insane. I feel like I legit just got here... allthough the first bit on my mission was rough, I've enjoyed being a missionary every single day of it. Through the good and the bad. 

I'm so incredibly grateful to be a representative of Jesus Christ each and every day. I never thought I'd be here as a missionary and I wake up every day baffled by what I am doing. I can't wait for what the next 9 months will bring:)) 

I'm still in the heart of the mission, Riverside, and my comp and I continue to have the most insane experiences every day. See things happen, talk to crazy people, see weird things (like iguanas and a chameleon outside?? Not sure what that's about) 

We walked past these dudes last week at a park sleeping and on out way back I had a feeling to talk with them! We ended up getting their info and they came to church this is week!! They also brought a new guy who said he's only felt peace like this in our church. So cool! 

We did have some guy leave his cigarettes and beer in front of us when moving his car and the cops came up to us asking if it was ours! (D&C 89) 

Aaaaaand we brought our friend Marcus a microwave and a toaster cause he didn't have one! Thanks to my homie Matthew, my dad, for offering to buy one!!

I've also been getting the most insane migraine headaches.. so that's fun... not. It's like once a week too. I think it's cause of the heat CAUSE ITS 110⁰ OUTSIDE. And like a billion mosquitoes. BUTTTTTTT God is so so good and it could be worse. (Shout-out to Hallie in the Philippines!! Props to her cause she's KILLIN it in the field) 

And last but not least of the past few weeks, my Grandpa K sent me a small package. I was not expecting it so I had no idea what it was. When I opened it, I immediately started bawling. My sweet Grandpa sent me a picture of him and Grandma Faye on their mission in England 24 years ago. 

For those of you who don't know, my Grandma passed away last May as well. He gave me and sweetest note and her very missionary badge that she wore. "Sister Brady".

 It's so crazy to think that she was Sister Brady 24 years ago wearing that exact tag. I get to feel her presence each and every day. 

I know that the Plan of Salvation brings comfort to countless people because it has brought comfort to me. I will see her again.
